Boy Scout Troop 463

We are Troop 463, based in historic Garrett Park, Maryland.  Our troop, currently with
Scouts aged 11 through 17, offers a boy-led program with trained adult leadership and guidance. We meet on Monday evenings during the school year in Lewis Hall at Holy Cross Parish (4900 Strathmore Ave) from 7:30 to 9:00pm (unless there is no school that day on the MCPS calendar).  When school is not in session, we participate in summer camp, high adventure fleurdelis300x300outings, or patrol activities. Our goal is to deliver a hands-on experience of leadership training through a program that combines an active and varied outdoor program, high adventure opportunities (such as Sea Base sailing expeditions, Philmont treks, and Northern Tier High Adventure Base canoe trips), service, and Scout skills with a deep respect for each other, our community, our country, and the environment.  We are proud of over 50 years of teaching leadership skills to boys.
