Film Society: Pride and Prejudice

Dinner at 7, Film at 8

On Friday, February 21, at 8:00pm the Garrett Park Film Society presents something romantic for this month so associated with love - Pride & Prejudice (2005; PG). Considered by some as the best adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic, Keira Knightley brings Elizabeth Bennett to life and director Joe Wright (Atonement, Anna Karenina, and The Darkest Hour) captures the tone and times of both the novel and the period perfectly. Admission is free to members or is $5/person or $10/family at the door for non-members.

Dinner and drinks will be served at 7:00pm. The dinner menu features a rich beef stew or African Nutbutter stew w/brown rice, both served with salad, hearty bread and dessert, which will be something scrumptiously chocolate, for $10/person. Chocolate martinis will be served at the bar along with wine, beer, and soda at prices ranging from $1 to $5.

Hope to see you all at the Town Hall.
